Art and thoughts on a spiritual renaissance

Blogging again....boy, it has been s.l.o.w.... this getting back to blogging on a weekly basis.
It has been busy... 2012 had me laid off, then I invented our Kickstarter project which threw us into hours and hours of work preparing for it...then teaching...and making art and more art... and learning baby steps on how to manage the business side of our ARTventures! Today is 12/12/12 ~I believe it is a significant day ~it could be ANY day..but the fact that so many have come into agreement that THIS is the day... it makes it significant. Just as Jesus said: " when more than one of you is gathered together to pray..." there is POWER in that!....
So this is the date that marks a shift towards higher consciousness, a gateway that opens for us and invites us to step through and into 12/21/12....when there will begin in earnest a quickening towards more light and awareness.  I for one, celebrate that!

The first happened at the time of the Buddha, Lao (author of the Tao Te Ching), Mahavira (Indian who taught about non violence & respect for all humans/living creatures), Zarathustra de Persian prophet, and the pre-Socratic Greek philosophers who taught about the profundity of the human soul... a speculative philosophy which was later lost in the speculative philosophy of Socrates, Plato etc. 

This second spiritual renaissance will be one where humanity moves away from the idea that any single interpretation of the truth must be the only and correct one.....where we move together into love and acceptance of one another in the true sense of "Namaste"... where we can envision a future in which people of ANY and ALL spiritual inclinations respond to a shared sense of the sacred in each other and towards the natural world that surrounds us.
